Finally, I was able to scan and post my Lisa drawings. I did these actually a little while ago but just didn't have a free moment to scan them, so here they are! Lisa is actually one of my fav characters because she's very dynamic and wholesome. She just isn't the standard "nerd", she has feelings, wants, fears, etc. I can imagine that if she were a real person how hard it would be for her in school but at the same time she isn't a charity case because she still does what she likes and is confident doing them. Anyway, 10 points to the first person to guess what the second pic is in reference to. I had fun with these, I think I might do some secondary characters next. Prisma color pencils on newsprint. Enjoy!

I love your poses and coloring. Really brings them to life and each pose has a story to it! The color are bright and vibrant too. I love it.

I guess the second pic is a reference to "22 short stories about Springfield" episode, right?
Anyway, loving this pics... really full of life!

It's the reasons you described why Lisa is one of my favorites too (or was, anyway, in the before time). Love the "Summer of 4 Ft. 2" pose. "Like, you know, whatever..."

So glad to hear someone treat Lisa like a real person again rather than another "Meg". But I imagine Fox's thoughts if you told them all this:

"Y'know, whatever. Money Money Money."

Again, I would pay every penny / cent to see an ENTIRE Simpsons episode animated like this, never mind a 5-minute Couch Gag.

These drawings turned out great!

I like how loose and organic the character looks; it really makes the original style design of the Simpsons more loose and free. :)

In the words of Sideshow Mel, "Never try to remove gum from your hair with a bone..."

PS: Summer of 4' 2" is one of my favorite Simpsons episodes ever.
