One of the last test's I did. This was a re-write that was added after the first phase of the show was done. Again the quickness and the smears I added for pizzazz. Oh yeah I also timed all of this myself so when you watch the actual sequence the timing is pretty much all me. I only posted a few of these, mainly because they were the only one's I did tests for, and because they were the best out of all the ones I did. Everything before the commercial cut I did, Itchy, Scratchy, the crown, all of it. The bg guys did the back grounds of course but all the animation was done by me. It was A LOT of fun animating these two. Stretching them and squashing them was a blast, I hope I can do it again. Enjoy!
Itchy and Scratchy are copywrited by Matt Groening
i realize the simpsons isnt really supposed to be cartoony(theyve been riding that excuse for a while now) since people in sitcoms hardly ever squash and stretch so much, but im glad they let itchy and scratchy get away with that now. great job!
Wow. Just...wow. These three clips were amazing. The way Itchy and Scratchy are let loose to properly squash and stretch is amazing! And the blur effects are awesome too. Really brings me back to how the Simpsons used to be animated during their time with Tracey Ullman. In short, pure jenius my friend. I'll definately watch that episode just for this part alone

You need more time for the impact of the jump // I know you want it to be quick but you only have 1 drawin between the landin and his turn which doesnt give anytime for the over-lappin action

I couldn't add the impact because of the time constraints. Because of the complexity of tv animation, I only had a few seconds leeway to complete this action. Because of that I combined the landing with the anticipation, believe me I had the landing before. Also though he isn't falling from very far at all so there really wasn't much need for an extra action for him to complete a landing action then go into the anticipation for the grab. I guess you have the see the whole scene to understand it. Thanks for the input though.
wow it's an honor to get commented from you. Your stuff is amazing. I've actually tried a few times to do some of the stuff I've seen from you and it's tough, I guess I'll stick to cartoons. Thanks again!
